Frequently asked questions
How do I clean my piece(s)?
Due to the nature of the vintage silver pieces, hand washing with soap and water is recommended. Avoid any harsh scrubbing.
I notice the letters aren't as dark as they were in the beginning. Can they be darkened again?
It is not always the case but, sometimes, over time with washing and polishing, you may notice that the darkened letters have gotten lighter. Some folks may like that look even better, but if you'd like them to be darker, you can use Safe Mark to fill in the letters.
Can my piece(s) be polished?
Because the pieces are silver plate, they will likely tarnish over time. Feel free to polish as needed. I personally like Wright's Silver Cream as it comes with a non scratch sponge and seems odorless. Of course you can also use a polishing cloth.
